Dear ECC Families,
It is incredible to believe, but this will be the last Friday newsletter of the year! It has been a great year.
I have appreciated getting to know your children and seeing the amazing growth they have made during
the school year both academically and socially. This year’s group of students has been exceptional, and
our staff and I feel lucky to have spent the last year (or in some cases, years) together.
All of our students have a few very exciting days left of the school year.
On Monday, all ECC students will enjoy a dance party to celebrate our PBIS (Positive Behavioral
Interventions and Supports) program. This is our ECC system of explicitly teaching appropriate
behaviors throughout the school environment. After our dance parties, our students cool off while
enjoying popsicles provided by the ECC PTO. If you would like to join our dance party and show off your
dance moves, plan on arriving at the ECC by 10:20 in the am, or 2:15 in the pm. We will be using our
new outside speakers for the first time. The dances will take place outside of the K and PreK doors.
On Monday our Kindergarten students will travel to the Elmwood Park High School to practice for our
end of year ceremony. We will return in time for the dance party. On Tuesday, May 24th, all
Kindergarten families are encouraged to attend our end of year Kindergarten Program. Each classroom
has prepared a song and we will announce each kindergartener’s name at the conclusion of our
program. The high school auditorium, located at 8201 W. Fullerton Avenue, is large enough to hold
parents, aunts, grandparents and other special guests. Please plan on celebrating the wonderful year
with us. Our programs will begin on Tuesday at 9:15 and 1:15. At the conclusion, you may take your
child home with you, or your child may return to the ECC on the bus for the regular dismissal. Please
plan on entering the high school through the new main entrance on Fullerton Ave. Parking is available
on Fullerton Avenue, and there are a limited number of spots in the high school lot behind the building.
Our last day of classes will be Wednesday, May 25th. Kindergarten and Preschool students will be
celebrating outdoors, weather permitting. Please read your child’s newsletter carefully to find out more
details about their last day.
Please remember to visit the Elmwood Park Library and sign up your children for the Summer Reading
Program…Students who participate and bring their form to the ECC in August will receive a special
certificate and sticker!
Registration is currently being accepted for all new and returning students. If you have not already
registered, please call our office at 708-583-5860 to find out how to complete this process.
Again, thank you for enrolling your child at the ECC. It has been a privilege to participate in your child’s

Estimadas Familias del Centro ECC,
¡Parece increíble, Pero esta es la última hoja de Noticias de este último Viernes del ano! Ha sido un año
maravilloso. Aprecio mucho el haber podido llegar a conocer sus hijos y el poder ver el progreso maravilloso que
han hecho durante este año escolar, en ambos campos, social y académico. El grupo de estudiantes de este año
ha sido excepcional y nuestro personal y yo nos sentimos muy privilegiados de haber podido pasar el ultimo año
(en algunos casos) juntos.
Todos nuestros estudiantes tienen solo unos pocos días emocionantes de este año escolar.
El lunes todos los estudiantes del Centro ECC estarán disfrutando una fiesta de baile para celebrar nuestro
programa PBIS (Intervenciones y Apoyo para el Comportamiento Positivo). Este es nuestro sistema de nuestro
Centro ECC de enseñanza explícito de enseñanza de comportamiento apropiado a través de todo el ambiente
escolar. Después de nuestra fiesta de baile, nuestros estudiantes se refrescaran con unas paletas provistas por la
PTO de Centro ECC. Si a usted le gustaría estar en la fiesta de baile y lucir sus movimientos de baile, trate de estar
aquí en el Centro ECC a las 10:20 en la mañana, o a las 2:15 en la tarde. Estaremos usando por primera vez,
nuestros nuevos, altavoces que fueron instalados afuera. El baile se estará llevando a cabo afuera frente a las
puertas del Kínder y de Preescolar.
El lunes nuestros estudiantes del Kindergarten viajaran en autobús hacia la escuela superior de Elmwood Park para
practicar para nuestra ceremonia de final de año. Pero regresaremos a tiempo para nuestra fiesta de baile. El
martes 24 de mayo, a todas las familias de Kindergarten se les anima a que hagan planes para acompañarnos a
nuestro programa de final de año del Kindergarten. Cada aula ha preparado una canción y estaremos anunciando
cada uno de los nombres de los estudiantes del kindergarten, al concluir el programa. El auditorio de la escuela
superior, localizado en 8201 W. Fullerton Ave., es lo suficientemente grande como para recibir a padres, tíos/as,
abuelos/as, y otros invitados especiales. Por favor haga planes para celebrar con nosotros este maravilloso año.
Nuestro programa comenzara el martes a las 9:15am y a las 1:15pm. Al terminarse el programa, usted podrá
llevarse su hijo a casa con usted, o su hijo puede volver al Centro ECC en autobús, siguiendo el procedimiento
regular de salida. Por favor haga planes para entrar la escuela superior, utilizando na nueva entrada principal
localizada frente a la Fullerton Ave. Habrá estacionamiento en la Avenida Fullerton, y solo habrá un número
limitado de espacios en el lote detrás del edificio de la Escuela Superior.
Nuestro último día de clases será el miércoles 25 de mayo. Los estudiantes del Kindergarten y del Preescolar
estarán celebrando afuera, si es que las temperaturas lo permiten. Por favor lea la hoja de noticias de su hijo con
mucha atención, para saber más detalles sobre el último día de clases.
Por favor no se olvide de visitar la biblioteca de Elmwood Park y registrar a su hijo para el Programa de Lectura de
Verano. ¡Los estudiantes que participen y que traigan su forma al Centro ECC en agosto, recibirán un certificado
especial y una calcomanía!
Se están aceptando actualmente registraciones para todos los estudiantes, nuevos o que van a regresar. Si usted
todavía no se ha registrado, por favor llame a nuestra oficina al 708-583-5860 para obtener más información sobre
como completar este proceso.
Nuevamente, queremos agradecerle que haya inscrito a su hijo en nuestro Centro ECC. Ha sido un privilegio el

Trudno w to uwierzyc, ale dzisiaj wysylam do Panstwa ostatni juz piatkowy list w
tym roku szkolnym! Byl to naprawde udany rok szkolny. Jestem wdzieczna za
mozliwosc poznania Panstwa dzieci i obserwowania niesamowitych postepow w
ich rozwoju, zarowno spolecznym, jak i akademickim. Konczacy nauke uczniowie byli nadzwyczajna
grupa i wszyscy czujemy sie wyjatkowo majac okazje spedzic z nimi ostatni rok ( a z niektorymi uczniami
ostatnich kilka lat) razem.
Przed nami kilka ostatnich ekscytujacych dni roku szkolnego.
W poniedzialek wszyscy uczniowie ECC bada bawic sie na zabawie tanecznej, celebrujac w ten sposob
osiagniecia programu wychowawczego PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), ktorego
zadaniem jest promowanie pozytywnego zachowania. System ten w sposob szczegolowy uczy
pozytywnego i odpowiedniego zachowania w srodowisku szkolnym. Po tancach nasi uczniowie beda
mieli okazje nieco sie „schlodzic” zajadajac lody na patyku sponsorowane przez nasze PTO. Jesli chcieliby
Panstwo dolaczyc do nas i zaprezentowac swoje taneczne mozliwosci, zapraszamy do ECC o godzinie
10:20 rano lub o 2:15 po poludniu. Po raz pierwszy uzyjemy systemu dzwiekowego na zewnatrz
budynku. Tance odbeda sie przy drzwiach obok klas przedszkolnych i klas zerowych.
Rowniez w poniedzialek uczniowie klas zerowych pojada do budynku liceum na probe generalna
programu przygotowywanego na zakonczenie roku szkolnego. Wrocimy do szkoly na zabawe taneczna.
We wtorek, 24 maja, zachecamy i zapraszamy rodziny uczniow klas zerowych na uroczysty program
celebrujacy zakonczenie nauki w klasie zerowej. Kazda klasa przygotowuje piosenke, po ktorych
zakonczeniu wyczytane zostana imiona wszystkich uczniow konczacych nauke w klasie zerowej.
Audytorium szkoly sredniej mieszczace sie pod adresem 8201 W. Fullerton Avenue jest dosc duze, aby
pomiescic rodzicow, ciocie, dziadkow i wszystkich innych specjalnych gosci. Prosze wiec zaplanowac
wspolne z nami swietowanie. Program odbedzie sie we wtorek, odpowiednio o 9:15 i 1:15. Po
zakonczeniu programu moga Panstwo zabrac dziecko do domu lub tez uczniowie moga wrocic do szkoly
autobusem i zakonczyc zajecia o zwyklej godzinie. Wejscie do budynku szkoly sredniej odbedzie sie przez
glowne wejscie, od ulicy Fullerton. Parking dostepny jest na ulicy Fullerton i z tylu budynku liceum (ilosc
miejsc parkingowych jest tam ograniczona).
Ostatni dzien szkoly to sroda, 25 maja. Uczniowie przedszkola i klas zerowych celebrowac beda ten dzien
na swiezym powietrzy, jesli pozwoli na to pogoda. Wiecej szczegolow na temat zakonczenia roku znajda
Panstwo w liscie od wychowawcow Panstwa dziecka.
Prosze pamietac o odwiedzeniu biblioteki publicznej w Elmwood Park i zapisaniu sie do Letniego Klubu
Czytelniczego, Summer Reading Program…Uczniowie, ktorzy wezma w nim udzial powinni przyniesc
wypelniony formularz do ECC w sierpniu, a otrzymaja specjalny certyfikat i naklejke!
Jestesmy w trakcie rejestracji do szkoly nowych i powracajacych uczniow. Jesli nie zarejestrowali jeszcze
Panstwo dziecka na nastepny rok szkolny, prosze zadzwonic do naszego biura pod numer telefonu 708583-5860, gdzie dowiedza sie Panswto o szczegolach procesu.
Jeszcze raz….dziekuje Panstwu za umozliwienie dziecku nauki w naszej szkole. Poznanie Panstwa dziecka
i bycie czescia jego zycia bylo wielkim przywilejem. Zycze Panstwu bezpiecznego i cudownego lata!
