The academic year is divided into two terms. I. The Winter semester: The classes start on 1st October 2016 and last until 31st January 2017. Important dates: Academic Year Structure 22 December 2016 – 6 January 2017 – Christmas break 1 - 15 February 2017 – winter examination period, II. The Spring semester: The classes start on 20th February 2017 and last until 16 June 2017. Important dates: 13 - 19 April 2017 – Easter break 19 -30 June 2017 – spring examination period. Then your home university coordinator should send us an official message - nomination. Application forms and guidance notes for incoming ERASMUS students are available at the link below http://vpu.edu.pl/ Application procedure 1. Fill Erasmus Application Form and print it. Confirm Erasmus Application Form with the stamp and the signature of your home Erasmus coordinator. Complete applications should be sent by email to the ERASMUS inbox listed above. Emailed applications are acceptable and there is no need to send hard copies. All applicants who apply for studies (SMS) should include a recent Academic Transcript with their application document. Application form (SMP) traineeships Application form (SMS) studies Acceptance documents will be sent by email from the International Relations Office when applications have been approved by the relevant department (in period two weeks) 2. Contact with your home Erasmus coordinator and with the VPU Erasmus coordinator to prepare or consult your Learning Agreement. Send your LA to the departmental coordinator. Please remember to consult with the departmental Erasmus coordinators from your home University (sending university) and from Vincent Pol University (receiving university) and send them Learning agreement for their confirmation. Language Requirements Students should have at least level B1 in the language of instruction. No formal test required from ERASMUS+ students - confirmation by home institution is sufficient. Polish language courses We offer FREE Polish language support courses, running for 1-2 hours per week for 15 weeks. Accommodation The International Relations Office assists with finding accommodation in dormitories. However, to high demand we cannot guarantee that every student receives a room or a room in their preferred location. http://vpu.edu.pl/
