Situation
In June of 2013 a landslide interrupted the traffic on route T-350 between
Valdivia and Niebla. Heavy rainfall in the region caused the soil to lose
adhesiveness and to augment the density.
opis
The Gewi 32 mm nails used to stabilize the slope were 6 meters of length. The
distance between the nails is 2.5 meters horizontally as well as vertically.
To protect the slope from erosion caused by rain, a Geobrugg antierosion mat
Tecmat was installed beneath the high-tensile steel wire net TECCO G65/3. It also
helps to revegetate the slope.
After the installation normal traffic on the route was flowing again.
