CONFESSIONS: Sacrament of Reconciliation
A reminder that confessions are heard in English every
Saturday before the Vigil Mass, from 3:45 to 4:15 p.m. and
in Polish every Sunday before the 11:00 Polish mass.
There will be additional opportunities for confession in
English on Sunday, December 22, both before and after the
9:00 Mass.
RELIGIOUS GIVE THANKS
“Thank you for accompanying us as we care for our elder
sisters,” writes a religious superior. Your gift to last week’s
collection for the Retirement Fund for Religious helps support
nearly 34,000 sisters, brothers, and religious order priests past
age 70. May God bless you abundantly for your goodness.
USHERS/GREETERS NEEDED
There is an urgent need for ushers/greeters for the 10:00
p.m. Mass on December 24, Christmas Eve (Polish/English).
As of this writing we have no one scheduled. As we traditionally
have a larger attendance at this mass, including visitors and
former parishioners, we will especially need the help of ushers
and greeters. Please call Joyce at 216-749-6598 if you can
help out at this Mass.
All MASSES are in English except the 11:00 Sunday mass
which is in Polish.

Deadline for ordering poinsettias is this
weekend. Payment by cash or check is
required at the time the order is placed.

Barbara Parish Guild”. Order forms are
available on the table at the west entrance
of the church.
OPŁATEK (Christmas Wafers) are
available before or after Masses.
Packets (4 wafers) are available at the
table near the west (parking lot)
entrance. Suggested offering $3.00 for
each packet.


FROM IRELAND, at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 6740
Broadview Rd in Parma. While the concert is free -- a free will
offering will be taken to support the music ministry. A reception
will follow the concert in the vestibule of the church.
Volunteers are needed at the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
Visit patients and families, help with transportation, meal
preparation. Run errands. Cut hair. Make phone calls. Help

JOHN THE EVANGELIST at St. John Cathedral. You are

invited to honor St. John as the Patron Saint of our Diocese, our
Cathedral Parish, and the Cathedral Church itself. Bishop
Lennon will celebrate the 12:00 noon Mass with the addition of
special music. At 7:00 p.m., Bishop Lennon will preside at
Solemn Sung Vespers. All are welcome, especially the young
and those preparing for initiation. Free secure parking is
