As members of the parish faith
community, it is our responsibility to
remember both in concrete and spiritual
ways those who cannot celebrate with
us each week because they are ill.
Those who are sick in turn, remember
all of us daily in their prayers and in their sufferings. We
experience many blessings because of their remembering
us. And so ... please remember in your prayers:

Important Tips to Reduce Stress at Work
O •Breathe. You don’t even have to leave your desk. Take several deep breaths and let your body relax.
Stretching can help relax tense muscles and improve posture. Try these exercises from your chair.
R •Stretch.
Interlace your fingers, and straighten your arms out in front of you with palms facing out. Hold this pose for a few
seconds. Then, turn your palms upward above your head; reach toward the ceiling and hold.
N •Clear
your mind. Think about something else. If you’re stuck on a project or just can’t think of what to write in
that
report,
E work. take some time away from it. Work on another project, or focus on something completely unrelated to
R •Take a break. Give your mind and body a chance to rejuvenate. Take a walk around the building or go to lunch.
•Grab a pen. Write in a journal or on a scrap piece of paper. It doesn’t matter. Allow yourself an opportunity to
vent about your co-workers, your boss and your job — without worrying about eavesdroppers.
•Delegate. If you have too much to do, find an officemate who’s willing to help with one of your projects.
