Registering for the First Time: Parents of students
MUST bring both the birth and baptismal certificates
of their children. If the child has already received First
Communion, the parent must also bring proof of this.
All of these requirements apply even if the
sacraments were received in this parish. They do
not apply to students who are re-registering.
NOTE: Parents of students advancing to Grade 7,
8 or Prep 6 will register in the summer, but must
return in September to meet with the Religious Ed
Director to receive Confirmation Requirement
forms and information. These interviews are
mandatory; students in these grades cannot begin
classes unless their parents have met with the
director.
Tuition must be paid at the time of registration. The
tuition fee for the school year 2015-2016 will be the
same as last year.

now on sale. In the first drawing only 200 tickets
are sold for $100 each - and the Grand Prize is
$10,000. In the second drawing only 200 tickest
are sold for $50 each - and the Grand Prize is

What is the Defensive Driving Course?
This 6-Hour course is presented by the National
Safety Council-certified instructors, who offer a new
approach to learning accident prevention skills.
You’ll receive a course guide to use in class and to
keep for future reference. This course is great for
new drivers and experienced drivers.

ANOINTING OF THE SICK
The sacrament of the anointing of the sick is offered
once a month, every first Saturday of the month,
following the 8:00am Mass and Novena prayers.
Those who are anticipating a hospital stay, have a
serious illness or advanced in years should take
advantage of this sacrament. One may receive this
sacrament no more than a few times in a year.
However, in the case of any emergency always call the
Rectory at 842-5211.
SECOND COLLECTION
This weekend our Diocese will take up the
Peter’s Pence Collection, which provides the
Holy Father with the funds he needs to carry out
his most important charitable works. The proceeds benefit the most disadvantaged: victims of
war, oppression, and natural disasters. Through
your generosity, we can cast the peace of Christ
upon the world.

SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER! These are the
words that every young person can’t wait to sing. We
all remember how it felt: relief, freedom and a sense
of indescribable joy. We hope that this summer will
bring good experiences for all.
In today’s second reading St. Paul speaks to us, as
he did to the Corinthians, about how much we are
blessed and that we should also excel in the grace
of giving.
“[A]s a matter of equality your abundance at the present time should supply their needs, so that their
abundance may also supply your needs, that there
may be equality. As it is written: Whoever had much
did not have more, and whoever had little did not
have less” (2 Cor. 8:7, 9, 13-15).
OLA has a very generous spirit. St. Paul would
be proud of how we take care of our community.
This week, please keep us in mind as you do your
shopping. Our pantry needs are: canned kidney
beans, macaroni and cheese, canned vegetables,
spaghetti. And our children would surely appreciate some summer snacks!

Przyjmujemy intencje na Msze św. na rok 2015. Ofiara
za intencję wynosi $15. Intencje należy zamawiać w
kancelarii parafialnej w godzinach pracy. Nie przyjmujemy intencji przez telefon.
Można również uczcić pamięć swoich bliskich poprzez
złożenie donacji na Eucharystyczny Chleb i Wino na
wybrany tydzień . ($50) : w intencji osób żyjących
(z okazji rocznicy, urodzin lub w intencji dziękczynnej)
lub w intencji osób zmarłych.
Osoba mówiąca po polsku dyżuruje w kancelarii parafialnej w środy wieczorem w godz: 19:30-21:00.
NAMASZCZENIE CHORYCH
Sakrament namaszczenia chorych jest udzielany w pierwszą
sobotę każdego miesiąca po Mszy św. o godz. 8:00 rano i
nowennie . Powinny go przyjąć osoby wymagające leczenia
szpitalnego, poważnie chore lub w zaawansowanym wieku.
Nie można przyjmować tego sakramentu więcej niż kilka
razy w ciągu roku. W sytuacjach nagłych prosimy o
telefonowanie do kancelarii parafialnej, tel. 842-5211.

Zapisy będą odbywać się w następujących terminach:
-od wtorku 2 czerwca do wtorku 30 czerwca,
-od wtorku 18 sierpnia do czwartku 27 sierpnia.
Zapisy prowadzone będą w biurze Centrum Edukacji Religijnej we wtorki, środy i czwartki w następujących godzinach:
-wtorki: 10:00-13:00,
-środy: 15:00-19:30,
-czwartki: 13:00-17:00.
W przypadku zapisów uczniów nowych (zapisywanych po raz pierwszy): Rodzice uczniów MUSZĄ
przynieść ze sobą Metrykę Chrztu Dziecka oraz jego
Akt Urodzenia. Jeżeli dziecko przyjęło już sakrament
Eucharystii (Pierwsza Komunia Św.), to wówczas
prosimy o przyniesienie zaświadczenia potwierdzajacego przyjęcie tego sakramentu.
Wszystkie powyższe wymagania muszą być
spełnione nawet jeżeli dziecko otrzymało sakramenty w naszej parafii. Nie dotyczą one uczniów
zapisywanych ponownie (tj. kontynuujących naukę
w naszym programie).
UWAGA: Rodzice uczniów rozpoczynających
naukę w klasach VII, VIII oraz Prep 6 zapisujący
swoje dzieci latem, muszą we wrześniu spotkać się
z dyrektorem Programu Edukacji Religijnej, aby
otrzymać listę wymagań dotyczących sakramentu
Bierzmowania i potrzebne informacje. Spotkania te
są obowiązkowe. Uczniowie, których rodzice nie
spotkali się z dyrektorem, nie mogą rozpocząć
nauki .
Opłaty za naukę należy uiścić podczas dokonywania zapisów. Będą one takie same jak w roku ubiegłym.
Wysokość opłat:
- za 1 dziecko: $ 120
- za dwoje lub wiecej dzieci: $ 150
- Pierwsza Komunia Święta (klasa II) : $50
(tj. opłata za fotografa i materiały
przygotowawcze)

Francis and Paul
This week Pope Francis released an
encyclical which gives a 21st century parallel to
St. Paul’s words in today’s second reading. In
Section V, Global Inequality, Francis writes “there
is little in the way of clear awareness of
problems which especially affect the excluded.
Yet they are the majority of the planet’s
population, billions of people.” The entire
encyclical can be read at www.usccb.org .
This coming week we celebrate
Independence Day. Our Country was founded on
Judaeo-Christian principles of Truth and
Morality, and a Democracy can only survive in a
moral society.
Now God has been taken from our society
and our laws favor immorality.
These past weeks we have seen
unprecedented examples of hate, injustice and
violence.
Do we as a people not see that there is a
direct relationship between the decline of
national morality and the increase of personal
violence? What can we as God-fearing people
do to reverse this course?
I invite everyone to attend the 8:00 AM
Mass next Saturday morning to pray for our
country, to thank God for its blessings, and to ask
pardon for its mistakes.
