Tekst 2.
Chłopiec: When I was five I wanted to be a pilot like my uncle. He travels a lot and buys me
presents from different countries: Germany, Spain, even from Canada. But now
I’m thinking of becoming a firefighter. I want to help people.
Tekst 3. Kobieta: What time are you coming home from school today, John?
Chłopiec:
At about 4:30, I think.
Kobieta:
Are you having any extra lessons?
Chłopiec:
No, I’m going to the cinema with my friends after school.
Kobieta: Oh, I see.
Chłopiec:
I have to go now. Bye mum.
Kobieta:
Bye John.
Zadanie 2.
Dialog 1.
Mężczyzna: Have you bought the dress you wanted, Lisa? Did you finish your shopping?
Dziewczynka: Yes, I got a lovely dress but I still have to go to the post office. I want to buy
some stamps.
Mężczyzna: I’ll go with you! But let’s finish lunch first. How do you like your salad?
Dziewczynka:
It’s great, Dad.
Dialog 2.
Mężczyzna: Excuse me. Can you tell me where the nearest post office is, please?
Kobieta: Leave the cinema and turn right. Go past the restaurant and then, turn left at the
corner. The post office is on your right.
Mężczyzna: Thank you very much.
Kobieta:
You’re welcome.

Yes, of course. Here you are.
Chłopiec:
Thank you.
Zadanie 3.
Chłopiec: Liz! Thank you for inviting me to this lovely place. I’m having a great time!
Dziewczynka: You’re welcome, Phil. I’m glad you’re here with my friends. Look at Diana. She’s very
pretty, isn’t she?
Chłopiec: Yes, she is.
Dziewczynka: She’s also a great photographer. She always takes beautiful photos at our parties. Look!
She’s taking photos with her new camera – a birthday present from her grandparents.
Chłopiec: Great! And the two girls who are feeding the ducks? Are they your classmates?
Dziewczynka: Just Natalia, the one with dark hair.
Chłopiec: She seems very nice.
Dziewczynka: Yes, that’s true. Can you see the girl who’s riding a bike?
Chłopiec:
She’s your best friend, isn’t she?
Dziewczynka:
Yes, it’s Isabel. She is a very sporty person.
Chłopiec:
OK, and how about the girl preparing food?
Dziewczynka:
That’s Gemma. She loves cooking. She’s going to be a celebrity chef. Do you want
to meet her?
Chłopiec:
Yes, sure. I’m really hungry.

Mężczyzna:
How do you usually spend your holidays?
Dziewczyna:
I sometimes go to the mountains with my backpack. It’s OK. But sunbathing is what
I enjoy most. I love staying at a big hotel near the beach.

Tekst 3.
Chłopiec: I usually finish lessons at 2, but I have to stay at school until 3 p.m. Every day I have
basketball practice with my school team, so I get home at about 4 p.m. I work really
hard at school, so I’m very tired.

Do you like sport Jack?
Chłopiec: Oh yes, very much. I often play tennis and volleyball.

Do you like them most?

Well, they’re ok, but my favourite time is when I go to Switzerland in winter, because
I love skiing. It’s so exciting!
Tekst 5.
Dziewczynka: I don’t know what to buy mum for her birthday.
Chłopiec: I saw some nice things in that new bookshop yesterday.
Dziewczynka: Which new bookshop?
Chłopiec: You know, the one behind the clothes shop.
Dziewczynka: Oh, right. Did they have any pens?
Chłopiec:
Yes, but mum got a nice pen from her colleagues last year.
Dziewczynka:
That’s true. Let’s buy her a new picture.
Chłopiec:
That’s a good idea. The bookshop has lots of really nice ones.
Dziewczynka:
OK, let’s do it.
