The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music Department of Instrumental Studies address: ul. Okólnik 2, 00-368 Warszawa INFORMATION on Postgraduate Artistic Training offered at the Department of Instrumental Studies Enrolment dates: September /for winter semester – deadline for document submission: 15 September, January / for summer semester – deadline for document submission: 15 January. Type of classes: Individual - in solo instrument playing, Individual - in solo instrument playing with accompanist. Aim of studies/training: development of performance skills and artistic personality. Candidates: persons who want to apply for Postgraduate Artistic Training are required to hold at least a secondary school-leaving examination certificate or a diploma of completion of first cycle studies, second cycle studies, or uniform MA studies Lecturers: Instrument playing classes – violin, viola, cello, double bass, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, accordion, harp, guitar, and percussion – are taught by staff members whose names are listed on the FCUM website Required documents: (according to the Rules of Postgraduate Studies and Postgraduate Artistic Training at the FCUM) registration in the university’s Internet Registration of Candidates (IRK) system application form for Postgraduate Artistic Training personal questionnaire photocopy of secondary school-leaving examination certificate/ diploma of completion of higher education studies (original available for inspection); 4 photographs (size 3 x 4 cm); photocopy of ID or passport, twice enlarged (original available for inspection); CV; Documents required from foreign candidates: registration in the university’s Internet Registration of Candidates (IRK) system application form for Postgraduate Artistic Training personal questionnaire graduation diploma from a Polish higher education institution or a graduation diploma from a foreign higher education institution – accepted or nostrified; photocopy of passport, twice enlarged (original available for inspection); copy of an illness and accident insurance policy for the period of education in Poland, or a copy of the European Health Insurance Card, or a signed declaration of acceding to the insurance in the National Health Fund; medical certificate proving no contraindications against starting education within a selected major. Cost of Postgraduate Artistic Training: Polish citizens - 5,300 (five thousand and three hundred) PLN for 30 lesson hrs (45 minutes each) in instrument playing (2 semesters) Non-Polish citizens - 7,000 (seven thousand) PLN for 30 lesson hrs (45 minutes each) in instrument playing (2 semesters) Accompaniment - 2,600 (two thousand and six hundred) PLN for 15 lesson hrs (45 minutes each) - optional Examination fee: - 250 PLN Please make your payment to the following bank account: RAIFFEISEN BANK POLSKA SA 62 1750 0009 0000 0000 1333 6188 Uniwersytet Muzyczny Fryderyka Chopina, ul.
