Year 3 Stone Age to Iron Age Day – Wednesday 30th November 2016.
Dear Parents/Carers
As part of our Fabulous Finish for our ‘Time Travellers’ theme, we are lucky to have Portals to the Past
coming in to deliver a Stone Age to Iron Age workshop.
In order to fully get into character, we would like the children to dress up. Here are some examples of
the types of clothing they would have worn in this period.
As you can see just a simple scarf or wrap with a belt can be easy to create, along with bright colours
and checked fabric.
You could use some blue face paint to create spiral designs or spike their hair to finish off the look.
Most importantly, we would like the children to have fun. It will be a really good day!
