“Goodmorning,neighbour!Haveaniceday!”–suchandothergraffitionpavementsgreet
theinhabitantsoftheZaspadistricteveryday.TheyhavebeenputtherebyGaleriaZaspa,
which says ‘hi’ to its neighbours in this original and environment-friendly way after the
upgradeoftheshoppingmallandinvitesthemtovisititsrefurbishedinterior.
The graffiti on Zaspa pavements is clean graffiti. It is a method of putting text and images
into urban space using templates, water, and high-power washers. The message is visible
becausethesurfaceofthepavementisnaturallydirty.Whenconcreteslabs,cobblestones
or asphalt surfaces are cleaned, the message stands out in stark contrast. The technique
doesnotdamagethesurfaceorinterferewithitinanyway,anditiscompletelylegal.
“We have picked out this communication method because we wanted to say ‘hi’ to
the local inhabitants in an inspiring and original way. Rather than using intrusive
methods, we have opted for cheerful and non-invasive communications, building on
the mural character of the neighbourhood. We have decided that environmentfriendly graffiti are the best way to communicate with the local inhabitants,” said
MarcinJuszczyk,MemberoftheManagementBoardofGrupaCapitalPark.
The objective of the campaign has been to create messages which not only promote the
shoppingmallbutalsomakeapositivecontributiontothedailylifeofthelocalinhabitants
and provide added value. As a result, more than 30 clean graffiti have been created,
encouragingpeopletosorttheirwaste,stopbeforecrossingthestreet,lookcarefullybefore
going through a pedestrian crossing. The clean graffiti also invite everyone for a game of
hopscotchbythelocalplaygrounds.

wykorzystującmotywskrzydełsamolotu,jakoodniesieniedopierwotnychfunkcjijakiepełniłbudynek.
