Join the successful EUREM Community
Dear future European EnergyManager,
in the year 1999 the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry initiated the qualification
“European EnergyManager“ (EUREM) for training energy managers in Germany. EUREM is an
ambitious standardized training programme and successful network for European EnergyManagers,
which is already implemented in 26 countries worldwide. An international Consortium of experts
from Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece and ltaly coordinate the development and
extension of this programme
).
Until now more than 4.000 European EnergyManagers from over 300 EUREM courses all over the
globe are partners of the successful network of energy efficiency specialists. In Poland two editions
of the course have been completed by now and further more are going to be offered. The Polish
Chamber of Commerce is the licensed EUREM provider in Poland and a weIl recognized organizer of
EUREM trainings.
There are many reasons for employing an energy manager. Despite already existing efficiency and
quality standards, companies still have a huge energy and costs saving potential. lt is characteristic
for EUREM that it is based on real needs of manufacturing companies and practice in energy
management and that all countries use the same method and standardized training materials. This
guarantees that every European EnergyManager has basic knowledge in all relevant energy fields and
also learns specific know-how about implementing energy efficiency projects.
EUREM helps to reduce costs and increase the competitiveness of the respective companies while
contributing significantly to global climate protection. Therefore we highly recommend you to take
part at the EUREM training organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce and to joln the successful
worldwide EURE
ommunity.
