Agriculture in the Classroom program. The 7th grade
students followed the scientific method to determine
how different variables can change the ripening process of apples. The 8th graders researched information
and apple statistics to teach their kindergarten buddies the basics of apple growing in Illinois. Then they
made Apple Chains to demonstrate the growing process from seeds through pollination. Did you know
that in 2007 the Gold Rush apple variety became Illinois’ state fruit? The students will continue working
with the Ag in the Classroom program, improving
their knowledge of Illinois farming throughout the
coming school year.

Zapraszamy na żywy dialog ze Słowem Bożym.

Zbieramy Artykuły Żywnościowe
Ostatnia niedziela miesiąca 29 Listopada to okazja
aby przynieść nie psującą się żywność dla
potrzebujących. Wspomniane dary prosimy przynieść
do przedsionka kościoła. W ten sposób możemy
przyjść z pomocą ludziom w potrzebie. W imieniu
biednych składamy wam przeto najserdeczniejsze
podziękowanie za wszystkie otrzymane od was dary.
MODLITWA – SPOTKA IE Z BOGIEM
Pan Jezus przestrzega przed „zagadywaniem” modlitwy:
„ a modlitwie nie bądźcie gadatliwi jak poganie. Oni
myślach i natchnieniach.
Sprawą niezmiernie ważną jest świadomość obecności
Boga w całym życiu, w każdej chwili i każdym miejscu.
Tę zaś świadomość daje łaska wiary. Odnoście do tego
czytamy w Katechizmie Kościoła Katolickiego, iż „w
owym Przymierzu modlitwa jest żywym związkiem
dzieci Bożych z ich nieskończenie dobrym Ojcem, z Jego
Synem Jezusem Chrystusem i z Duchem Świętym” (KKK
2655). Życie modlitwy polega zatem na stałym trwaniu
w obecności Boga i w komunii z Nim. Jest więc
modlitwa otwieraniem się na wszechogarniającą miłość.
Jest ona narzędziem dostąpienia łaski Bożej, bez której
nie osiągniemy życia wiecznego. Modlitwa jest zatem
koniecznym środkiem do zbawienia. Przede wszystkim
środkiem walki z pokusą i grzechem.
gorliwą i nieustanną modlitwę.
pokusy. Grzeszne upadki mają swój początek w
zaniedbaniach modlitwy. Niechaj zapadnie nam w sercu
Chrystusowa przestroga: „Czuwajcie i módlcie się,
abyście nie ulegl
