Dear Parishioners,
Every year it is becoming more apparent, in
the Archdiocese of Chicago, that there is a
shortage of priests to serve in the parishes.
Today, it is not uncommon for one priest to
administer to two parishes.
We have been very fortunate to have three
full-time priests serving our parish for the past
four years. However, Bishop Thomas Paprocki has met with me to
request that the Redemptorist Community of St. Mary of Czestochowa share one of their priests, to begin a Spanish ministry, at St.
Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Parish in Chicago,IL.
Beginning on July 1, 2009, our parish will share Fr. Darek Pabiś
with St. Stanislaus Parish. Fr. Darek has agreed to serve both, our
parish and Stanislaus Parish, on a part-time basis. St. Stanislaus
Parish will also share one half of the salary and one-half of the
health insurance costs for Fr. Darek. This income will help our parish to reduce some of its budget costs as requested by the Archdiocese.
Therefore, Fr. Radek and Fr. Waldemar will be the only full-time
priests to serve in our parish. Fr. Darek will assume only part-time
responsibilities.
This change in our priest personnel will necessitate a change in
our present Mass schedule, since Fr. Darek will have to celebrate a
Mass in Spanish at 1:30PM every Sunday at St. Stanislaus.
Beginning July 1, 2009 the Saturday Mass schedule will be as
follows:
► The 8AM morning Mass on Saturdays will be cancelled with
the exception of the 1st Saturday of each month. An 8AM Mass
will be celebrated every 1st Saturday and the 1st Saturday Holy
Hour will continue to be prayed after the Mass.
► The Saturday evening Mass in English will continue to be celebrated at 5PM. After the 5PM Mass, Baptisms in the Spanish
language will be administered on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays and
on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, baptisms in the English language
will be administered.
► A 6:30PM Mass in the Polish language will be celebrated every
Saturday. (The Sunday 7PM Mass will be cancelled).
Sunday Mass Schedule:
► 8:30 AM—Mass in the English language.
► 10:00 AM—Mass in the Polish language (Baptisms will take
place after this Mass in the Polish language.)
► 12 PM—Mass in the Spanish Language
► 4PM—Mass in the Spanish Language
We are confident that our parishioners will be understanding and
will accept the new Mass schedule. We, your priests will continue to
serve our parishioners to the best of our ability. May God bless you!

FEAST OF THE MOST HOLY TRINITY
The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are
children of God, and if children then heirs, heirs of God
and joint heirs with Christ..” (Romans 8:16-17).
If we are heirs to the Kingom of God, should we not work
to build up that Kingom? Should we not be good stewards
of our inheritance, using our time, talent and treasure to
care for the Church that God has left to us? Our Church is
a treasured heirloom from God. Do we treat it that way?

Fr. Darek Pabis, CSsR is celebrating his 11th
anniversary of ordination on Saturday, June
6th. May God bless you , Father Darek and
give you many more years in the Holy Priesthood. Thank you for all you do for St. Mary of
Czestochowa Parish!
God so loved the world that he gave….(John
3:16)
This weekend we celebrate the mystery of the
Most Holy Trinity. This is a day to rejoice in the
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who love us! It’s a
day to rejoice in the very personal love that God
has for each one of us-a love that will never abandon us. God has
held nothing back.
He invites us, weak and sinful human beings, to share completely in his divine life. And he has moved heaven and earth to
make it possible! What an amazing lover and a most generous
giver!
John’s Gospel tells us that God has given us the Holy Spirit to
guide us into all truth by revealing the mysteries of the gospel to
our hearts. The Holy Spirit takes what he hears from the Father
and the Son and reveals it to us in a personal, life-giving way
The Spirit works in such a way as to bring us into an experience
of the Trinity. His revelation always lifts our hearts, fills us with joy
and gives us confidence that we are God’s beloved children.
At Mass today, ask for a deeper revelation of the Trinity, a revelation of the love that gave everything so that we could be with him.
Expect God to fill you with his divine life and give you a deeper
taste of his love.
The feast of Corpus Christi is one time when
our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is exposed
not just to faithful Catholics but to all the world.
This is a time when Catholics can show their
love for Christ in the Real Presence by honoring Him in a very public way. It is also a wonderful way in which we can show our love for
our neighbors by bringing Our Lord and Savior
closer to them. Next Sunday, June 14th, the
celebration of Corpus Christi will be celebrated in our parish.
After the Mass. the Blessed Sacrament is placed in the monstrance. The priest then carries Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament to four different altars representing the four corners of the
earth. While processing, the congregation follows and sings. At
each altar there are readings, prayers, and benediction. The
procession is expected to take place around 11:30 A.M. All are
invited to participate in the Mass and procession.

I wish to thank the parishioners of St. Mary of
Czestochowa Parish for their prayers, and support of the school, and for myself, personally. I
wish to thank the pastor, Father Radek, for his
efforts on behalf of the school. I wish to thank all
of the staff and all of the school families for sharing in wonderful years of growth and caring. This
is a wonderful community and will continue to be
so. God is truly present here; forms of ministry change at times,
in EVERY parish. Pain accompanies these changes, but God is
present even in pain, and sometimes especially so. I will continue to pray for this parish, as I do for any parish I have every
worked in. I wish to stay in contact and plan to do so.
I have been blessed to be asked to serve at Pope John Paul II
Catholic School in the Brighton Park neighborhood of Chicago,
IL after July 1st. Feel free to contact me there. I will be available
in the St. Mary’s School office through June 19th on weekday
mornings for any late business or contacts. God bless you forever!

about the raffle. The next Early Bird raffle
drawing will be held on Sunday June 21st
(Fathers’ Day). The prize will be an MP3 Car Stereo.
Other Early Bird raffle drawings will be held on Sunday, July
12 for a GPS (10:30AM Mass) and on Sunday, August 8th for
an IPOD Nano (4PM Spanish Mass).
In order to be eligible for the Early Bird raffles, you must sell
all 20 raffle tickets and payment of $100 for them must be received before the Early Bird drawings. The cover of the raffle
book is used for the drawing.
The grand prizes of $3,000; a 47” LCD TV; a Personal Computer; a Nintendo WII and Bicycles will be raffled at the Carnival
on Sunday, August 23rd, 2009 around 8PM.

El cambio del horario de las Misas
Por su parte, los once discípulos marcharon a Galilea, al monte que Jesús les había indicado. Y al verle

Dios de Jesucristo
El Dios de Jesucristo es ante todo un Dios de donación:
el Padre nos dona a su Hijo, el Padre y el Hijo nos donan su Espíritu, el Padre, Hijo y Espíritu nos donan su
propia vida haciéndonos hijos de Dios. El Dios de Jesucristo es un Dios de salvación: El Padre quiere que todos los hombres se salven, el Hijo lleva a cabo la salvación de todos en su sangre, el Espíritu hace eficaz en el
corazón de cada hombre la salvación de Dios. El Dios
de Jesucristo es un Dios de misión: Poneos en camino,
haced discípulos a todos los pueblos, bautizadlos en el
nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo, enseñadles a poner por obra todo lo que yo os he mandado.
La revelación de este misterio divino se puede captar un
poco con la inteligencia, pero se penetra todavía algo
más con el corazón y con la experiencia de Dios en la
oración.
Adoración del S. Sacramento
Cada Miércoles tenemos la Adoración todo el día. Les

El próximo domingo (14 de junio) tendremos la solemnidad del Santísimo
Cuerpo y Sangre de Cristo. Como
siempre es el momento oportuno para

Jedenastu uczniów udało się do
Galilei na górę, tam gdzie Jezus
im polecił. A gdy Go ujrzeli,
oddali Mu pokłon. Niektórzy
jednak wątpili.
Wtedy Jezus zbliżył się do nich
i przemówił tymi słowami:
„Dana Mi jest wszelka władza
w niebie i na ziemi. Idźcie więc
i nauczajcie wszystkie narody,
udzielając im chrztu w imię Ojca i Syna, i Ducha Świętego. Uczcie je zachowywać
wszystko, co wam przykazałem. A oto Ja jestem z wami przez wszystkie dni, aż do skończenia świata”.
Mt 28,16-20
Jezus objawia Tajemnice Trójcy Świętej
Zanim Pan Jezus wstąpił do nieba, powie Apostołom te
znamienne słowa: „Idźcie więc i nauczajcie wszystkie narody, udzielając im chrztu w imię Ojca i Syna i Ducha
Świętego” (Mt 28,19).
Podobnych tekstów można by przytoczyć więcej. Kiedy
np. Chrystus Pan zapowiada zesłanie Ducha Świętego na
Apostołów, mówi: „Ja zaś będę prosił Ojca, a innego Pocieszyciela da wam” (J 14,16). „A Pocieszyciel, Duch
Święty, którego Ojciec pośle w moim imieniu, On was
wszystkiego nauczy” (J 14,26). „Gdy jednak przyjdzie Pocieszyciel, którego Ja wam poślę od Ojca, Duch Prawdy,
który od Ojca pochodzi, On będzie świadczył o Mnie” (J
15,26).
Czy jednak Apostołowie rzeczywiście tak pojmowali i interpretowali powyższe i wiele innych zdań Chrystusa, jak
to my rozumiemy dzisiaj? Oni również na bardzo wielu
miejscach odróżniają jako odrębne osoby: Ojca, Syna i
Ducha Świętego, chociaż przypisują im jedną wspólną naturę i wspólne doskonałości.
