Financing

Decision on connection to national electric grid pending as of (31.01.2011) by
PSE in 2011.
According to the information provided by PAP (Polish Press Agency) on the 16th
of September 2010 Board Member of Elektrownia Północ Ltd -Karol Pawlak –
stated that conversations on investment financing are held with both the EIB and
EBRD ( 2010-09-16, PAP). Investment costs are estimated to be between 12 and
15 mld zł (3.1 and 3.86 bln euros). No easily accesible data on investment
financial structure (as of 17.01.2011). As of 18.01.2011 EBRD – claims that
there are no formal talks on financing running between the EBRD and the
investor. In Feb 2011 EIB admitted that is has been approached by Kulczyk
Investement's representatives.

a) Grzegorz Wasielewski <[email protected]> (były radny gminy Gniew, gdzie wczesniej miala
powstac elektrownia Vattenfalla, który się wycofal pod koniec ubieglego roku). Zbiera inforamacje
o lokalnych rolnikach przeciwnych budowie rurociagu przez ich pola oraz zapisy rozmow między
RDOSiem w Gdansku, a Vattenfallem (RDOS był podobne sceptycznie nastawiony do w miare
podobnego pod wzgledem srodowiskowym projektu)
b) Rodzina Brzozowskich mieszkała w domu that o 100 metrów od planowanej elektrowni. Do
12.2010 starali się powstrzymac proces uzyskania dezycji srodowiskowej i odwolali się od niej, ale
wycofali się ze sprawy pod koniec grudnia 2010. Brak dalszych informacji i nie udało mi się
skontaktować z rodziną.
