General description
Flame-proof distribution box type SR-50 is a separate
component of the electric system with a rated voltage of,
designed for 1000 V and designed for straight-through
connection of three-phase current wire/cable of portable
power cables with auxiliary conductors with possibility
branches.Boxes are fitted with terminals for connection of
stripped ends of wires/cables.

are suitable for application
− in methane fields of coal mines, in excavations of
methane explosion hazard class a, b, or c, or coal
dust explosion hazard class A or B;
− indoors and outdoors in gas and vapour and air
mixture explosion hazard zones 1 and/or 2 of
explosion hazard group IIB, temperature class T6.

Dimensions
Compliance with standards
Flame-proof distribution boxes type SR-50 are
manufactured in accordance with principles of good safety
engineering practice and are state-of-the-art, to meet the
requirements of the following standards:
• PN-EN 60079-0: 2009,
• PN-EN 60079-1: 2008
• PN-EN 60079-7: 2008,
harmonized with EU Directive 94/9/WE and standard
PN-G-50003, and applicable regulations.

In your order please specify product name, type and quantity entry units WK-_ or W_M and their arrangement.
Cables/wires can be let in using flame-proof inlet units type W_M and/or type WK-.... Inlets type W_M are
attached to the box enclosure via cover type PWP-…, and inlets type WK-… via reduction cover type PR;
redundant openings are stopped with a silencing cover type PG.
Example: Distribution box SR-50 with two reduction cover type PR, two WK-65 inlets, one silencing cover type
PG.
