This helped Brookside to give 894 low-income families food assistance. They also distributed 70 blankets, 8 new coats and numerous mittens, scarves, hats and gloves generously donated by various churches and groups. The outreach staff provided resource referrals and support to over 200 individuals. Together we DO make a difference! Donations for Lia House We are also contributing to the Lia House Winter Wish List during the months of February and March. They are requesting new or gently worn winter gloves, jackets, hats, scarfs and men's clothing along with men's toiletries. Please put your donations in the bin marked Lia House. Service Opportunities for Lent and Beyond Please see our Lent & Holy Week 2014 Pamphlet for more opportunities for service. Although the service opportunities are highlighted for this Lenten season, they may also inspire parishioners to volunteer at other times of the year as well. If you have any questions regarding the service opportunities listed please call Sharon Kazimore at 440-886-6052 for more information.
