Sopot Sailing Club is an experienced regatta organiser having in the past organised numerous national, European and world championships, including such events as the RS:X European Championships or the Finn Masters World Championships. The events organised in previous years proved to be very successful, which would indicate that Sopot is capable of hosting large scale sailing events. On behalf of the Polish Yachting Association I declare our support for Sopot Sailing Club as the Finn Gold Cup host in 2017 and guarantee any necessary assistance for the organisation of the event.
