SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION - PENANCE:

The Sacrament may also be celebrated at other times by
appointment with a priest.
SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM:
Baptism is celebrated each Sunday at 12:00noon. Registration
and Parental instruction are required before Baptism. Please
call the Rectory for an appointment several weeks before the
desired date.
SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE:
Marriages are to be arranged at least six months in advance,
and prior to any social arrangements. Pre-Cana Conferences
required. Schedule is given during the first appointment with
the priest.
SACRAMENT OF THE SICK & VISITATION OF THE SICK:
After the 8:30 am Mass on Saturday
Please call the rectory to arrange for the Sacrament of the Sick
and Communion to be brought to the sick and shut-ins.

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy
The following is the passage from the Diary
where Jesus explains to St. Faustina how to
pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. It is
important to remember that this is a truly
special prayer as it was created by Jesus for us
as a special element of the new Devotion to
Divine Mercy. Jesus spoke these words to her
in September 1935 while St. Faustina was
living in her convent in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Jesus told St. Faustina, “This prayer will serve
to appease My wrath. You will recite it for nine
days, on the beads of the rosary, in the
following manner: First of all, you will say one
‘Our Father’ and ‘Hail Mary’ and the ‘I Believe
in God’. Then on the Our Father beads you will
say the following words, “Eternal Father, I offer
You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of
Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus
Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of
the whole world.” On the Hail Mary beads you
will say the following words, “For the sake of
His sorrowful Passion have mercy on us and on
the whole world.” In conclusion, three times
you will recite these words: “Holy God, Holy
Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy
on us and on the whole world.” (Diary 476)
RECOGNIZING JESUS
St. Peter speaks to us twice today. In the first
reading, we hear an excerpt from his sermon on
Pentecost; in the second, part of his first Letter.
Once a frightened, uneducated fisherman who
often said just the wrong thing, now Peter is
speaking what he knows to be true. Everything
Jesus had said now makes sense. His death and
rising were all part of God’s plan, and our faith
and hope can be centered on God. Today’s
Gospel tells the story of Jesus’ walk to
Emmaus with two of the disciples. Frightened,
sad, and confused, the
two don’t recognize
Jesus, who tells them
what we heard Peter say
above: all this had to
happen as part of God’s
plan. In the end, these
disciples recognize Jesus
as we are to recognize
him—in the breaking of

Obraz Jezusa Miłosiernego. Pan Jezus polecił
namalowanie obrazu, ukazując jego wzór w wizji,
jaką św. Faustyna Kowalska miała 22 lutego 1931
r. w celi płockiego klasztoru. „Wymaluj obraz
według rysunku, który widzisz, z podpisem: Jezu,
ufam Tobie! (...) Obiecuję, że dusza, która czcić
będzie ten obraz, nie zginie. Obiecuję także, już tu
na ziemi, zwycięstwo nad nieprzyjaciółmi,
szczególnie w godzinę śmierci" ( Dz. 47). „Te dwa
promienie oznaczają krew i wodę - blady promień
oznacza wodę, która usprawiedliwia dusze;
czerwony promień oznacza krew, która jest życiem
dusz. Te dwa promienie wyszły z wnętrzności
miłosierdzia mojego wówczas, kiedy konające serce
moje zostało włócznią otwarte na krzyżu (...)
Szczęśliwy, kto w ich cieniu żyć będzie, bo nie
dosięgnie go sprawiedliwa ręka Boga." (Dz. 299)
„Przez obraz ten udzielać będę wiele łask, a przez
to niech ma przystęp wszelka dusza do niego"
„Chcę, aby ten obraz, który wymalujesz pędzlem,
był uroczyście poświęcony w pierwszą niedzielę po
Wielkanocy, ta niedziela ma być świętem
Miłosierdzia" (Dz. 49). „Podaję ludziom naczynie
- powiedział Pan Jezus do siostry Faustyny - z
którym mają przychodzić po łaski do źródła
miłosierdzia; tym naczyniem jest obraz z podpisem:
Jezu, ufam Tobie” (Dz. 327). „Przez obraz ten
udzielać będę wiele łask dla dusz, a przeto niech
ma przystęp wszelka dusza do niego” (Dz. 570).
„Obiecuję, że dusza, która czcić będzie ten obraz,
nie zginie. Obiecuję także, już tu na ziemi,
zwycięstwo nad nieprzyjaciółmi, a szczególnie w
godzinę śmierci Ja sam bronić ją będę jako swej
chwały” (Dz. 48). „Palą Mnie płomienie
Miłosierdzia, pragnę je wylewać na dusze ludzkie.
O, jaki ból mi sprawiają, kiedy ich przyjąć nie chcą
(...). Powiedz zbolałej ludzkości, niech się przytuli
do miłosiernego Serca Mojego, a ja (ją) napełnię
pokojem”. „Nie znajdzie ludzkość uspokojenia,
dopóki nie zwróci się z ufnością do miłosierdzia
Mojego” „Mów światu o Moim miłosierdziu, niech
pozna cała ludzkość niezgłębione miłosierdzie
Moje. Jest to znak na czasy ostateczne, po nim
nadejdzie dzień sprawiedliwy. Póki czas niech
uciekają (się) do źródła miłosierdzia Mojego, niech
korzystają z krwi i wody, która dla nich wytrysła”
„Nim przyjdę jako Sędzia sprawiedliwy, otwieram
wpierw na oścież drzwi miłosierdzia Mojego. Kto
nie chce przejść przez drzwi miłosierdzia, ten musi
przejść przez drzwi sprawiedliwości Mojej”.
