Wspomnienia z międzyszkolnej wymiany…
Międzynarodowe certyfikaty językowe
We wrześniu 2015 roku, nasz szkoła miała
przyjemność przyjmować gości z Niemiec. Przyjechali
do
nas
uczniowie
szkoły
znajdującej
się w Wuppertalu. Niemieckimi gośćmi przez tydzień
opiekowali się uczniowie naszej szkoły, także i ja.
Plan, choć był bardzo napięty, zaciekawił wszystkich.
Mieliśmy możliwość, między innymi odwiedzić
Kozłówkę, poznać Lublin poprzez grę miejską,
odwiedzić Zamość czy zadumać się nad trudną
historią podczas wizyty na Majdanku. Nie zapomnimy
również wspólnego wyjazdu na pole golfowe czy
wieczoru przy ognisku. Ale to, co najbardziej zapadło
w naszej pamięci, to sympatyczni ludzie i wspaniałe
wspomnienia. Dzięki wizycie niemieckich uczniów,
w czerwcu tego roku mamy możliwość odwiedzenia
ich szkoły i miasta. Jesteśmy bardzo podekscytowani
możliwością poznania nowego miejsca oraz
powtórnego spędzenia czasu z naszymi przyjaciółmi.
Jest to również świetna opcja dla osób które chcą
sprawdzić swoje możliwości językowe zarówno
podczas wymiany jak i po. Nadal utrzymujemy
kontakty z naszymi niemieckimi partnerami, pisząc
z nimi czy rozmawiając przez skype’a.
Uważam, że wydarzenie, jakie miało miejsce
w naszej szkole bardzo pozytywnie wpływa na nasz
rozwój zarówno językowy, jak i kulturowy. Miałam
możliwość gościć przez tydzień rówieśniczkę – Sarę
i utworzyć więź, która trwa do dzisiaj, a także
zachować wiele wspólnych wspaniałych wspomnień.
Nie mogę doczekać się czerwca, kiedy znowu będę
mogła spotkać się z nią, tym razem w jej szkole
w Wuppertalu. Cieszę się na spotkanie z jej rodziną,
którą zdążyłam poznać przez Internet. Mam nadzieję,
że nasza relacja przetrwa jeszcze wiele lat,
a my spotykać się będziemy nawet poza ramami
wymiany.
Środowy poranek, 6 kwietnia, w II LO upłynął
pod znakiem języków obcych. Młodzież naszej
szkoły uczestniczyła w spotkaniu na temat
międzynarodowych certyfikatów językowych.

Dobrzańska i pani Dorota Gibka z Centrum
Nauki i Certyfikacji Języków Obcych
Uniwersytetu
Marii
Curie-Skłodowskiej
w Lublinie. W czasie zajęć licealiści mieli
możliwość zdobycia informacji na temat
rodzajów
i
struktury
poszczególnych
egzaminów językowych, jak się do nich
przygotować, jakie znaczenie ma posiadanie
certyfikatów językowych na rynku pracy,
a także jak i gdzie zapisać się na egzamin.
To było niezwykle cenne spotkanie dla
naszych licealistów, którzy do nauki języków
obcych podchodzą z pasją i dużym
zaangażowaniem.

Chicago is a metropolis located in 25th state of United States
of America, one of the biggest cities in the country. It would be
unrealizable for such a big municipality not to posses virtually
everything that people can imagine. That is the city we would call
an attractive, modern and ecologically-friendly settlement to dwell in.
What exactly is so magnetic about Chicago? For instance,
you can participate in its annual music festivals, such as Lollapalooza
or the Pitchfork Music Festival. For those who are uninterested
in music, there is always a chance to see one of the latest and most
thought-provoking plays in a theatre. Most popular venues are the
Goodman Theatre or the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where you can
immerse into the world of literary wonders.
If this kind of entertainment is not your cup of tea, then
in Chicago there are still loads of things you can do and see. If you
are the type of person that would rather start exploring the city with
their taste buds, then it is the place for you as well! Due to the fact
that Chicago is home for diverse nationalities, you have a great variety
of cuisines to pick out form. The most popular and pleasant-tasting
dishes are chicken Vesuvio and Greek saganaki which are served
aflame. From lavish cuisine to pizza, one thing is for certain in Chicago:
an appetite is required.
Nowadays young motorists and newly
passed drivers are finding it difficult
to obtain affordable car insurance.
Providers constantly develop new
techniques to make it possible. One

in their cars and here are some
advantages and disadvantages of this
gadget.
Firstly, those that benefit most from

In case of getting tired after all the sightseeing of magnificent
downtown architecture, you can take your time out in one of many
city's vast preserved green spaces. Chicagoans have over 580 parks,
dozens of gardens and 8,300 acres of grass, flowers and trees at their
disposal. With beaches, ice rinks and an 18.5-mile long bike path,
there is plenty of options for active visitors. And finally, you can rest
in one of "green-verified" hotels, such as “The Fairmont Chicago”
or “Hotel Arista” - independent, locally owned boutique hotels you
won't encounter in other parts of the world.

Which US place would you consider to be the
most attractive, modern and ecologically
friendly to live?
Nowadays, ecological and technical city development
features are the indicators of its prestige. Every person
wishes to live in a modern and environmentally friendly
city with the best landmarks, but which one should
we choose? We strongly believe that San Francisco
is the place which bonds together attractiveness,
modernity and ecology.
There are several reasons why we should dwell
there. To begin with, San Francisco is on the top of cities
that genuinely care about the environment. According
to the global rankings it is in the 8th place in the league
table of the most ecological cities in the world. Nearly
one fifth of its parks (e.g. Heron's Head Park) and other
green areas are spots where inhabitants can hang out
with children or friends. Furthermore, numerous new
buildings such as San Francisco Public Utilities
Commission are equipped and powered by renewable
energy sources, such as solar batteries which,
undoubtedly, contribute to the city's Eco-friendliness.
It is very important to note that San Francisco
is not only an eco-consciuos city, but also modern
and attractive one. It is called the jewel of Northern
California due to its history, great neighborhood
(The Mission, The Marina), beaches such as Baker Beach,
museums (e.g. Mexican Museum) and notable
attractions such as Alcatraz Island and Fisherman's
Wharf. All of them are the must-see of this region.
San Francisco is also the first city that seriously
took in consideration the destructions caused by sudden
earthquakes. The authorities constantly look for untried
solutions to improve inhabitants' security, for example by
creating new organizations of Public Safety. Therefore,
San Francisco citizens can be peaceful about their future.
Furthermore, the presence of international headquarters
of such companies as Brightpearl business service
provides an endless list of job opportunities. It shows
the importance of the city for global economy and its
attractiveness for ordinary citizens..
For us, the quotation from William Saroyan
perfectly describes the spirit and atmosphere of San
Francisco “If you’re alive, you can’t be bored in San
Francisco. If you’re not alive, San Francisco will bring you
to life……San Francisco is a world to explore. It is a place
where the heart can go on a delightful adventure. It is
a city in which the spirit can know refreshment every
day.” So, why not visit it one day?

Der Frühling –meine Lieblingsjahreszeit dauert
3 Monate: von März bis Juni.
Der Frühling beginnt am einundzwanzigsten
März. Jedes Jahr, am 21. März, gehen die
Eltern oder die Lehrer mit Kindern an den
Fluss und verabschieden den bösen Winter.
Das ist eine Tradition in Polen. Der Frühling ist
die
schönste Jahreszeit für mich. Die
Landschaft wird farbenfroh und malerisch. Es
ist sonnig und warm. Manchmal regnet es und
es weht ein frischer Wind. Die Tage warden
länger und die Temperaturen warden höher
und liegen bei 20 Grad Celsius. In meiner
Region gibt es grüne Wiesen und zahlreiche
Wälder. Ich wohne in der Nähe von einem
Wald und einem Fluss, darum habe ich
Kontakt mit der Natur. Im Frühling kann ich
mit meinem Hund lange spazieren gehen und
mich mit meinen Freundinnen drauβentreffen.
Wenn ich traurig bin, gehe ich einfach in den
Park und bewundere die Natur. Ich mag
sonniges Wetter imFrühling. Wenn ich morgen
früh aufstehe, fühle ich mich viel besser. Ich
habe viel Kraft und Energie für den langen
Arbeitstag. Ich gehe zur Schule mit Lust. Die
Menschen können in den Wald und in den
Park gehen, denn die Luft ist frisch und klar.
Die Vögel kommen aus warmen Ländern
zurück und das istwunderschön!. Der Natur
wird von Tag zu Tag schöner, denn die Blumen
beginnen zu blühen und die Bäume warden
grün und bunt. Im Frühling gibt es viele
Blumen, zum Beispiel: Tulpen, Krokusse,
Schneeglöckchen,
Jonquillen,
blaue
Vergissmeinnicht und Maiglöckchen.
Der
Frühling hat viele Vorteile. Die Menschen
haben gute Laune, sind glücklich und lächeln
gern. Sie können Rad fahren, joggen und
leichte Kleidung tragen. Sie fühlen sich einfach
jünger und glücklicher und ich natürlich auch!

Z
niemieckojęzycznego
pierwszoklasisty...
pamiętnika Opowiadanie…
Liceum to niezwykły czas dla każdego ucznia. Wszyscy
absolwenci dobrze wspominają czas nauki w szkole
średniej. Lecz jak zawsze niepokój ogarnia nas przed
pójściem do nowej szkoły. Wybór odpowiedniej placówki
oświatowej jest jednym z pierwszych poważnych decyzji
naszego młodego życia. Na wybór składa się wiele
czynników m.in. poziom nauczania języków obcych oraz
ich różnorodność. Jednym z dodatkowych języków
obcych w II LO
jest język niemiecki, na który
zdecydowałem się po trzech latach nauki w gimnazjum.
Przedmiot
ten
jest
różnie
odbierany
przez
gimnazjalistów, czasem pozytywnie, a czasem nie.
Myślimy, że jeden język (angielski) nam wystarczy,
ale jest to złudne marzenie. Różnica pomiędzy
poziomami nauki w gimnazjum a liceum jest delikatna.
Nie zniechęca to odważnych i tych mniej
zaawansowanych językowo, ale obawa przed nowym
nauczycielem i jego wymaganiami jest zrozumiała, choć
często nie uzasadniona. Ja sam obawiałem się, jak
będzie wyglądała moja dalsza edukacja językowa.
Mój poziom mógł być niedostateczny względem innych.
Przyszedłem
z
ciężkim
sercem,
obawiając
się nauczyciela. Myliłem się, gdyż pani profesor
wiedząc o „dobrej pamięci” uczniów po wakacjach
rozpoczęła nauczanie od solidnej powtórki. Przypomina
nam do dziś regularnie, czego nauczyliśmy się na
poprzednich lekcjach , poznajemy też sposoby na łatwe
zapamiętanie reguł, bez których nie damy rady się
porozumieć. Uczymy się poprzez zabawę, mówiąc
i słuchając anegdotek ,,psorki”. Po pierwszym roku
jestem więc wstanie spokojnie prowadzić prostą
konwersację z przyjaciółmi z wymiany zagranicznej.
Po trzech latach może wyruszę na podbój krajów
niemieckojęzycznych? Kto wie? Jestem dobrej myśli…

Ken looked in his backpack to find his
camera,
but
it
wasn’t
there.
It was a very hot day last summer. The sun
was shining. Ken with his friends
went on holiday to Majorca. They chacked
into a hotel, ate in the restaurant and went
to the beach. The landscape was amazing
and colourful so Ken wanted to take
a photo. Unfortunately his camera was
missing. Ken began to panic!
Ken asked his
friends if they saw
or borrowed his camera. They said:
,,No! We didn’t have your camera!’’.
The atmosphere was terrible. Ken thought:
,,Where had I been before I went to the
beach? Maybe I had lost it when I was
in the hotel or the restaurant!’’ ,,I’ll be back
shortly’’ he said to his friends. They were
frightened, too!
First, Ken ran quickly to the hotel. When he
arrived, he asked the receptionist about
his camera. Unfortunately there was
no sign of it. He was terrified. Ken ran
to the restaurant. He found the place
where he and his friends sat, but there
wasn’t his camera, too! Suddenly, when
Ken was coming back to his friends, he
heard a waiter: ,,Wait! Did you lose
something?’’
,,You forgot it, when you were paying the
bill’’, he said with a pleasant smile. Ken
was very happy. He couldn’t believe it! He
said: ,,Thank you very much for saving me
from a terrible disaster!’’. The waiter
laughed and Ken came back to his friends.

Konkursy dla miłośników języka angielskiego…
Chistes en español       
17 marca 2016 roku w Dniu świętego Patryka w naszej Zachęcamy do przeczytania dowcipów w języku
szkole odbyły się konkursy z języka angielskiego dla hiszpańskim.
uczniów szkół gimnazjalnych i ponadgimnazjalnych.
Wzięło w nich udział w sumie około 60 osób
z Gimnazjum nr 1 w Piskach, Gimnazjum w Trawnikach,
Gimnazjum nr 1 im. Jana Pawła II, Gimnazjum nr 2 im.
Lotników Polskich, Gimnazjum nr 3 im. Noblistów
Polskich, I LO im. Władysława Broniewskiego, II LO im.
Krzysztofa Kamila Baczyńskiego i Powiatowego Centrum
Edukacji Zawodowej w Świdniku. Podczas konkursu
ortograficznego uczniowie zmagali się z dyktandem
i literowaniem, a pozostali z zdaniami sprawdzającymi
znajomość gramatyki angielskiej. A po konkursach
uczestnicy wzięli udział w grze z okazji Dnia świętego
Patryka i musieli odpowiedzieć na pytania związane
z tradycją szukając informacji ukrytych na terenie szkoły.
W grze oprócz szybkości wykonania zadania liczyła się
także poprawność udzielonych odpowiedzi.

