Zdanie nadrzędne zdanie podrzędne Jeśli w zdaniu nadrzędnym występuje czas Simple Present, Simple Future lub Present Perfect, to nie ma żadnego wpływu na czas w zdaniu podrzędnym. Jeśli w zdaniu nadrzędnym występuje czas Simple Past to występuje następstwo czasów. PRESENT CONTINUOUS → PAST CONTINUOUS Bob: I am doing my homework every day. Bob told me that he had been doing his homework all the morning yesterday. SIMPLE FUTURE → FUTURE IN THE PAST Bob: I will do my homework on Monday. Bob tells me that he will do my homework on Monday.
