For our client Bourge company- international leader in processing innovative technologies we are currently
seeking for:
Supervisor (LDPE)
SL/Bur/03_12
Place of work: Abu Dhabi
Reporting to the Department Manager, you will be part of the Operations team and will be responsible for:
-
Coordinating and supervising on assigned shift, the operation of LDPE unit in a safe and efficient manner
to ensure the production, processing and distribution of diversified LDPE products meeting specified
qualities and quantities within the designated area.

Coordinating periodic checks, adjustments and maintains follow-up on all maintenance activities in his
respective operating area. Completes shift supervisor log book and other work reports noting state of
operating plants, corrective action taken and highlighting other items of plant that need further attention.

Supervising plant start-ups, shutdown and emergencies as per established operating procedures.

Regular contacts with Laboratory and Material Handling at supervisory level for general coordination of
operations and routine maintenance work.

Regular contacts with Area Maintenance Engineers/Supervisors and Safety & Fire personnel on shift, to
coordinate and follow up maintenance activities.
About you as a successful candidate you will have:
-
Technical or Diploma Course or higher
-
At least 6 years work experience in petrochemical plants including 3 years in a Supervisory position in an
LDPE unit.

Ability to speak, write and communicate effectively in English.
-
Very good analytical & leadership skills.
-
Excellent team player.
-
Proficient in the use of computer, i.e. MS Office, CMMS, etc.
